Therefore, it conditions people who pursue equity within its system, such as pro-worker grassroots organizers, to believe that incremental change leads to genuine progress, when in reality it's a systemic protective containment mechanism that keeps the bar of progress set to a low standard to prevent cumulative genuine advancement that can dismantle the system.

The False Trade-off
